Well done Irish bar right near the Garden. For a large-capacity bar, this place nevertheless manages an intimate feel. ~30 beers, British exports, solid pub food. Working fireplace.

A great place to go with your friends. The place is HUGE and there's always room to get in. They have 4 or 5 plasmas TVs playing whatever sport is going on that night and it's just a really fun atmosphere. In the summer they have outside seating available, which is always fun for people watching. The drinks are reasonably priced and well made. They have good food if you're in for dinner, and a "burger and a beer" lunch special that people working in the area take advantage of.

The red hat offers two different floors with two different environments, on the lower level (The Pub) you will find our bar with a warm feel, a great mix of patrons, flat screen tvs, and the best juke box in Boston. On the second level it is like stepping back in time to 1906, you will find a dining room and historical bar that has been brought back to life from it's original look. A large mural of Boston in it's earlier days is adorning the walls of this 99-year-old restaurant.

As far as sports bars go this one is a great choice simply because of the LCD TVs in the booths. There are 150+ of those TV's in the place. You get your own personal little TV right there for viewing! Did I mention the tiny TV's?
If you get bored of that game you can look up and catch a different game on any one of other plasma screens that surround the perimeter of the room. Couple all that with serving rum and cokes in a pint glass and you have the formula for sports bar happiness.

This Irish pub has great dcor that leads to a good feeling atmosphere. There are mirrors, modern art, stone fireplaces, dark wood paneling, and the bar has marble. It is also bigger than what you would think with the street level dining area, a balcony upstairs area, and a downstairs area with another bar. I think that this is probably a wonderful place to have a drink and watch a game. Rumor has it the drinks have a good pour, and you're likely to see more than one person here on a busy night tipping over themselves.
